Police are still trying to identify a man, suspected to be the victim of a hit-and-run, who was found dead on the roadway at Two Friends, East Coast Demerara on Monday.
In a statement on Tuesday, police said the man, who is of East Indian descent, was clad in black pants, a green-t shirt and a pair of black Clarks boots. He was 5’4” in height, dark in complexion, with a slim build and appeared to have been in his late 30s. He remained unidentified up to yesterday.
The body is currently at Lyken’s Funeral Home.
