At about 1210h. yesterday, ranks of a police mobile patrol conducted a search on a motor car at Sheet Anchor Village, East Canje, Berbice, in which was found an unlicensed .22 Beretta Pistol with one round.
The police say that three men who were in the vehicle have been arrested and are in police custody assisting with the investigations.
One of the men is presently before the court on five counts of robbery under arms for which he is on bail, the police said.
