Shalini Jewlall, 32 years, and her seven-year-old daughter of Strand, New Amsterdam, Berbice, were struck down by a motor cycle as they were crossing Main Street, New Amsterdam yesterday, the police said.
The victims and the rider sustained injuries and were admitted to the New Amsterdam Hospital.
Shalini Jewlall succumbed to her injuries this morning.
Investigations are in progress.
