Pre-school caregivers benefit from multi-task training

Nine preschool facilities yesterday benefited from training which should see the staff engaging in new methods, skills and techniques when dealing the babies and toddlers in their care.

A total of 24 caregivers took part in a multi-task training workshop programme which was organized by the Kiskadee Daycare and Playgroup and held at its Queen Street, Kitty location, yesterday.

Those who benefited were drawn from Kiskadee Kids, Blue Sackie, Bumble Bee, Green Acres School Group, Sherjoy, Precious Angels, Sure Foundation, Stabroek News Daycare and Margaret-Rose Arthur.

The facilitators were educator Bonita Harris, lecturer Patricia Wintz, Paulette Bollers of the Municipal Daycare Centres, and Concheeta Gray and Lauvern Turne from the Child Care and Protection Agency.

Also present were Principal of Kiskadee Kids Desiree Albert welcomed the group and Marilyn Green, principal of Green Acres School Group delivered the charge.
