Donald Sinclair has been appointed the Director General of the Tourism Ministry.
Sinclair assumed duties as Director General on October 1st. He previously worked as Director at the Suriname College of Hospitality and Tourism.
He had served as Special Assistant to the late Minister of Tourism Michael Shree Chan, the Executive Director of the Guyana Tourism Authority (GTA) under former Minister Manzoor Nadir and Coordinator for Tourism and Transport at the Amazon Cooperation Treaty Organisation in Brasilia.
Sinclair has also lectured at universities in Guyana, the United States and Canada and he has authored research articles on tourism that were published in several international publications.
