Dear Editor,
I noted with some anxiety that Ms Anna Benjamin will no longer be editor of the Sunday Stabroek. As an avid reader of the print media, I have found Sunday Stabroek editorials to be informative and topical, and provide good guidance for the citizens of Guyana and beyond.
These days such high quality writing is refreshing and can be considered a rich treasure, particularly in the troubled environment of Guyana.
I was glad to learn that Ms. Benjamin would still be working and writing. The truth is, this and future generations can ill afford the loss of such wisdom and perspicacity. I look forward to her successor, challenging as it may be, carrying on her good work.
