AFC’s only opportunity to play a role in national development was to join forces with APNU

Dear Editor,

There are those who have broken away from the AFC because they were not consulted previous to the APNU-AFC coalition, and the AFC had reneged on its decision not to join a coalition. Those drop-outs should contemplate the Wednesday, February 18 KN headline ‘Team Unity win St Kitts General Elections.’ The three opposition parties coalesced and won 7 of the 11 seats.

If the opposition APNU-AFC win many drop-outs might return to the fold. The AFC has only 7 seats; its only opportunity to play its role in national development is by joining forces with APNU.

Yours faithfully,
George Carrington
