Do Jagdeo, Ramotar have more evidence about Crum-Ewing’s killing than the rest of us?

Dear Editor,

If press reports are to be believed, former President Jagdeo and President Ramotar have confirmed that Courtney Crum-Ewing’s killing was political. They have now joined me and others in expressing an opinion on a high-profile killing. Both gentlemen opined that the activist may have been killed by the opposition. President Jagdeo went further; he says we will be shocked if and when we learn who the killers are. Hint a Beneba meck Quashiba teck notice. Maybe these presidents, in their privileged positions in the state, have more information than the rest of us. My question is this: Has Crime Chief Mr Leslie James questioned these two gentlemen about the evidence they may have to support their theory of how the activist was killed? If they have not, I demand a public apology from the police.

Finally, both presidents have also hinted, one more explicitly than the other, that Mr Crum-Ewing was a less than honourable person. All I say for now is that Michael Browne of Ferguson and Eric Garner of New York were both projected as criminals after they were killed.

Yours faithfully,

David Hinds
