The roads in the Kitty area have been deteriorating for some time, particularly on the verges, leading to problems for motorists and pedestrians especially in the twilight and night hours.
A few days prior to the political rally in Kitty on Sunday, suddenly the contractors were out in force, and in a stroke we had the roads repaired in Alexander Street, David Street, Lamaha Street, Pike Street, the junction of Kitty Market and Sandy Babb Street, etc, etc.
But as they say, it is an ill wind that does not blow some good; so take note local authorities, the way to get the potholes filled and roads repaired in your community, is to have a political rally – and abracadabra!
