Congratulations to 90.1 ‘Love FM’

Dear Editor,

I just want to congratulate the management of 90.1 ‘Love FM’ for the fantastic job they are doing in radio broadcasting in Guyana. I am a favourite listener to their online broadcast, the most reliable − at least far, far better − than NCN’s on-and-off online feed. ‘Love FM’ has grown tremendously since its launch, especially in reach, quality and most of all, the satisfaction of listeners. The music is balanced, and often skewed to my liking. (I think I’m a little biased when I say I love the English/American music.)

Special kudos for the airing of one of my favourite old programmes that used to air on Radio Roraima many years ago but was discontinued—the Rick Dees Weekly Top 40, one of the most popular countdowns in North America and around the world. Please consider bringing American Top 40 with Ryan Seacrest (AT40).

I hope the sponsor for that programme keeps that show going for many, many years.

Other programmes I particularly enjoy in the evenings include ‘Quiet Storm’ with radio legend, Basil Persaud. Keep it up 90.1 FM. I think you are ready for radio in this 21st century and well- prepared to deliver it to Guyanese (and Berbicians).

Yours faithfully,

Leon Suseran
