The Georgetown Amateur Basketball Association (GABA) will officially stage its Annual General Meeting for the election of office bearers on January 25 at the Roraima Duke Lodge in Kingston from 12:00hrs.
The forum which is scheduled to commence at 12:00hrs, will witness five positions within the body being contested. The positions to be contested are those of President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer and Assistant Secretary/Treasurer.
GABA President Michael Singh had previously told this newspaper that he will not be seeking re-election. Two individuals from each of the affiliated clubs will be allowed to vote during the forum.
The affiliated clubs are Dynas Ravens, TGH Pacesetters, Colts, Pepsi Sonics, Republic Bank Nets, Eagles, UG Trojans, Plaisance Guardians, Knights and Melanie Patriots. Teams who can observe the election process are Buxton Heat and West Side Jammers.
