Westbrook leads OKC past Indiana

(The Sports Xchange) – Point guard Russell Westbrook recorded his third triple-double of the season, collecting 20 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists, to lead the Oklahoma City to a 105-92 points win over Indiana.

Thunder forward Serge Ibaka added 23 points, 10 rebounds and three blocked shots. Reserve Guard Dion Waiters hit four three-pointers and tallied 14 points.

Guard C.J. Miles led Indiana, who lost for just the second time in eight games, with 21 points on 9-of-14 shooting. Guard George Hill added 13 points and eight assists. Forward David West scored 11 points and grabbed six rebounds.

Warriors 114, Wizards 107

Guard Stephen Curry scored 32 points in his return from a foot injury as Golden State rebounded from a loss with a victory over Washington.

Guard Klay Thompson had 17 points and forward Marreese Speights 16 for the Warriors.

Curry made 11 of 18 shots, including five three-pointers with eight assists in the second stop on a six-game road trip.

The All-Star missed his first game of the season on Sunday due to right foot soreness when the Warriors lost to Indiana.

Cavaliers 102, Pistons 93

 

Kevin Love scored 24 points, all on his career-high tying eight three-pointers as Cleveland erased a second-half deficit to down Detroit.

The power forward made four of his three-pointers in the third quarter when the Cavaliers, who have won 17 of their last 19 games, took control.

LeBron James racked up 19 points, 11 assists and seven rebounds and overcame nine turnovers for Cleveland, who moved within a half-game of Chicago for the Central Division lead.

Mavericks 99, Raptors 92

 

A pair of backups led Dallas’ second-half charge as the Mavericks earned a comeback victory over Toronto.

Reserve guards Devin Harris and J.J. Barea combined for 27 points and eight assists as Dallas (39-20) rallied from a 13-point deficit.
