Defending champs Christianburg/Wismar Secondary School will tackle Wisburg Secondary today in the final of the 7th Edward ‘Screw’ Richmond Memorial Football tourney following semi-final victories on Monday at the Wisburg Secondary School ground.

The current title holders will attempt to seal their third successive championship at the Mackenzie Sports

Club ground from 16:00hrs after hammering arch-rivals Mackenzie High School by a 4-0 score line.

Duquan Hercules opened the scoring for the eventual winners with a 10th minute strike. The score line would then become 2-0 in the 23rd minute compliments of a Tarique Williams own goal.

Shane Luckie would then further extend their lead a he found the back of the net compliments of a 41st minute effort. The lopsided win would then be sealed six minutes onward as Luckie netted his second of the day.

In the other semi-final, home side Wisburg Secondary squeaked past Linden Foundation Secondary by a 1-0 margin. Compton Caesar settled the matchup in the first half with a 24th minute effort.
