Payless Variety Store donates track suits, footballs to club

Payless Variety Store yesterday donated a quantity of tracksuits and a number of footballs to the Order and Discipline Football Club of the National Park.

The donation was done at the company’s Wellington Street location and

the equipment was received by club secretary Nicola Lambert, who along with coach Mark DeBarros and captain Ken Wilson were representatives of the club present.

“We are very pleased to offer support to you, and we hope that you will find success as you utilise what we are giving you today. We at Payless are very conscious about our responsibility and this is a tangible demonstration of that,” said Rajan Tiwari of Payless Variety Store.

Tiwari, who disclosed that the store was celebrating its anniversary this month, suggested the club participate in tomorrow’s Caricom Day relay meet which is also sponsored by the store.

Lambert thanked the management of the store and said the equipment will be put to good use.
