In reply, Canada were shot out for 121 off 33.1 overs with Arslan Khan top-scoring with 43 and Emmanuel David getting 26.

Fast bowler Keon Harding did the bulk of damage with three for 30 while fellow seamer Chemar Holder (2-19), and Khalil Herbert (2-27) and Ian Boyce (2-28), all finished with two wickets each.

The victory was set up by the powerful batting effort from the Barbadians, underlined by 198-run first wicket stand between Boucher and Gaskin.

Bouncer, a stylish right-hander, hit 11 fours while Gaskin, also a right-hander, stroked eight fours.

Once they were separated in the 41st over, the innings lost its way somewhat, and only Herbert with a 12-ball 18 with three fours and a six, showed any enterprise.

Harsha Thaker (2-44) and Emmanuel David (2-52) shared the four wickets to tumble.

In reply, Canada lost their first wicket to the second ball of the innings without a run on the board before sliding to 42 for four in the tenth over.

Khan then faced 80 balls and struck seven fours, posting 29 for the fifth wicket with David who hit three fours in a 33-ball knock.

Boyce broke the stand and normal service resumed, with Canada losing their last five wickets for 42 runs.
