During their first official meeting on Monday, the panel rolled out a programme of activities for the last quarter of the year.

The activities include the GRFU Sevens (Men’s and Women’s) starting on Sunday at the National Park. This will be followed by the Banks DIH Sevens (Men’s and Women’s) one week later at the same venue.

On October 24, a School’s Tournament is planned for the rugby field.

The GTT Ten Aside Competition (Men’s) will then take center stage on November 7 and November 22.

The list of activities then tentatively concludes on December 13 with the Guinness 7s Tournament (Men’s and Women’s).

The Executive Meeting came on the heels of the GRFU conducting a Constitutional Reform last Saturday.

Meanwhile, this morning, the Guyana Telephone Telegraph (GTT) will announce their funding to support the sport locally for the next three years.
