Deonarain to skipper Floodlights team against Suriname side

—Enterprise Legend T20 tournament

Popular businessman Ricky Deonarain has been named skipper of a strong Floodlights team which will oppose Suriname side Amar Shakti Sports Club this evening at the Demerara Cricket Club ground in the opening match of the four team T20 hardball competition.

That match is scheduled to get underway at 7pm.

Apart from Deonarain, the Floodlights team also includes Lalta Gainda, Wayne Jones, Dharam Persaud, Reaaz Hussein and nine year-old Romeo Deonarain.

Apart from the two teams mentioned, Enterprise Busta Sports Club and Enterprise legend Sports Club will also participate in the tournament which will be held at the DCC and the Enterprise Community Development Centre grounds.

At 1pm today, Enterprise Busta Sports Club will oppose the visiting Suriname side at the Enterprise Community Centre Ground.

Tomorrow, the Suriname side will oppose Enterprise Legend Sports Club from noon at the Enterprise Community Development Centre ground.
