The Guyana Water Inc signed a memorandum of understanding with the Institute of Applied Science and Technology (IAST) today which will see the two entities using technology to improve the utility’s operational processes and resolve challenges it faces.A statement from GWI said that the Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Chief Executive, GWI, Dr. Richard Van West-Charles and Director of IAST, Dr. Suresh Narine. The MOU specifies that the IAST will act as a technology provider, advisor and implementer of technology solutions to enhance the operations and find solutions to the difficulties experienced by GWI.
