The decomposing body of a 58-year-old man of Bush Lot, West Coast Berbice was discovered in his home on Tuesday afternoon
The man, Bheem Singh who lived alone was last seen alive on Sunday but neighbours did not suspect anything was wrong.
It was not until they became aware of a strong stench emanating from his house that they decided to check and made the discovery.
They then raised an alarm and the police were summoned. The body was removed around 7 pm.
