The explosive device was thrown at a vehicle belonging to KN Publisher Glenn Lall on June 4. The car was parked in front of KN’s Saffon Street building.

The grenade, which did not explode, landed near the front wheels of the vehicle. It was later destroyed by bomb experts at the Kingston seawall.
