The Victoria Community ground, East Coast of Demerara will come alive tomorrow evening when the Mayor’s Cup football championships resume with an exciting tripleheader from 17:00hrs.
In the opening salvo, the Guyana Police Force will take aim at West Demerara’s Uitvlugt Warriors whilst the second engagement will pit Georgetown’s Riddim Squad against Linden’s Eagles FC from 19:00hrs
The final showdown of the evening will pit the lone remaining Berbice unit Cougars FC against East Coast of Demerara’s Ann’s Grove from 21:00hrs.
Matches are also scheduled for the Georgetown Football Club ground, Bourda with another tripleheader pitting Georgetown teams against West Demerara units from 17:00hrs. In the opening fixture, Camptown will lock horns with Pouderoyen while the second fixture of the night at 19:00hrs will pit Santos FC against Beavers FC. In the feature contest at 21:00hrs Western Tigers will tackle Den Amstel FC.
