Uitvlugt Warriors climbed atop the Zone-B standings in the Turbo Energy Drink sponsored Fruta Conquerors U19 Academy League crushing Black Pearl 6-2 on Friday at the Tucville Community ground.
Keon Duke led the West Demerara outfit with a brace in the 58th and 68th minute while Jermin Accra also scored twice in the 53rd and 75th minute.
Adding to the rout were Gordon Barnwell and Scottie Leitch who scored in the 24th and 80th minute respectively. On target in the loss were Oseama Griffith and Samuel Van Dyke in the 29th and 39th minute.
Due to the result, Black Pearl now has eight points while the losers remain in third position on six points. The event continues on Tuesday at the same venue.
