Deaf Theatre stages the story of Guyana

The Theatre Guild will come alive tomorrow evening when the Deaf Theatre Guyana stages its ‘Spirit of a Nation’, featuring a presentation in dance, drama of the story of Guyana from Independence to now.

A press release stated that the show will kick start at 5 pm and will be done in two segments.

deafThe first segment will feature items by individual groups of deaf performers and the second will see a presentation in dance and drama of the story of Guyana from earlier to Guyana’s 50th anniversary.

The show will bring together deaf performers from Linden, Diamond and Georgetown.

Tickets cost $1,000 and are available at the Theatre Guild and from members of the Deaf Association of Guyana. Interested persons can make on contact on telephone numbers 225-4489 or 687-3597.
