Black Nunbird

The Black Nunbird is glossy blue-black with white-grey edges on its wings and a bright orange-red beak, and belongs to the family of birds known as puffbirds.

They are usually found perched upright near water and they feed mainly on insects which they take from leaves and branches rather than aerially like others in the puffbird family.
