Dear Editor,
There is an old saying: “two wrongs don’t make a right,” but in our political domain the opposite to that narrative plays out consistently with the two major political groupings (APNU and PPP): “If they did it in power, then it must be ok for us too”.
Sadly, many have bought into this logic to justify wrongs and excesses by the current government. Moreover, and much more sadly, the rest of us are left without any political option to turn to.
