Dear Editor,
Agencies and companies which interact with the public would always advocate that whenever matters of concern are put in the public domain, the aggrieved party should not seek redress through the media. It is always advocated that complaints be brought to and addressed by the agency or company directly.
That is how it should be, but it seems it is only when a matter is put in the public domain that action is taken and a response given.
Of course, there are even cases when matters are placed in the public domain that no action is taken. That matter in a certain region that gained national attention recently is a case in point.
