A Kaneville, East Bank Demerara family was on Sunday night terrorized and robbed by three armed men who then escaped with a licensed weapon, cash and a number of valuables.
Police in a statement yesterday said that at about 8:30 on the said night Gladston Stoll and five family members were having a get together when the men entered the premises and held them at gunpoint. They were told to lie on the ground during which time the men relieved them of cash, jewellery, watches and a video camera along with a licensed .32 pistol that belonged to a male relative.
The men then made good their escape. Police are continuing investigations.
