Man, 31, convicted of raping girl, 13

Colin Venture, 31, is now awaiting sentencing after being unanimously convicted by a jury on all of the three counts against him for raping a 13-year-old girl on three separate occasions over a one-month period back in 2020.

Fire wrecks Linden house

A MacKenzie, Linden home was wrecked by fire on Monday. According to a Guyana Police Force (GPF) press release, the fire occurred at about 7:45 am at Lot 451 Moraballi Street, MacKenzie, Linden.
