Dear Editor, How do you apologize almost 35 years later? This is my humble attempt to do just that.

Dear Editor, Upon reading the story captioned ‘File on abused 2-yr-old sent to DPP’ published on Tuesday 29th October 2013 on p 16, I felt compelled to make a public comment.   

Dear Editor, The issue is sufficiently important to warrant more than the cursory commentaries (`CCWU says no to contract workers’ SN  24th October, 2013) by contending trade unionists.

Dear Editor In a letter (`The gov’t needs to stop talking and start listening to the Indigenous Peoples’ SN October 25, 2013), Mr DaCosta criticised the way we treat Amerindian peoples in Guyana.

Dear Editor, The citizens/workers of this country do not want to see passing of the Amendment to the  Anti- Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism Bill and the President’s assent, just so it can be said that  Guyana has honoured the said November 2013 Caribbean Financial Action Task Force deadline.

Dear Editor, I have seen with mixed feelings a recent reappearance of talk about reparations.

Dear Editor, Please permit me to express my shock and disappointment at the revelations expressed in the letter `A dog’s life’ by Syeada Manbodh in your October 28, 2013 issue.

Dear Editor, I am heartened  to hear from sources close to Takuba Lodge that the UK High Commissioner Laleshwar Singh has decided to demit his seeming ‘job for life’ in 2014 after two plus decades in post.

Dear Editor, Can the relevant authorities kindly inform the residents of Hadfield Street between Louisa Row and Winter Place if this area has been designated a new bus park?

Dear Editor, Dr Tarron Khemraj, unlike the many faceless bloggers who hide behind pseudonyms because they do not have the courage of conviction to declare their identity, is man enough to show his name and  picture against his comments on my recent letter `How credible is Dr Rose now as a messenger’ in the Stabroek News of October 26, 2013.
