The President is in denial mode

Dear Editor, There is an urgent need for an ‘intervention’ in the way the President is handling Guyana’s disturbing criminal and corruption crises, and mostly because the President appears to have entered a steadfast denial mode.

Dear Editor, I wish to respond to some poisonous attacks on my character that were published in the Guyana Chronicle of 20th April, (‘Parker’s reputation is not one of credible leadership material’) written by a phantom Mary Charlie; one of 24th January (‘Parker’s track record will be interesting to the people of Rupununi’), written by Peter Persaud, the Leader of the United Force; and one of 30th January (‘Carl Parker, an APNU activist masquerading as someone of importance’), also by Peter Persaud.

Dear Editor, The Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation has noted your article in your June 29 edition headlined ‘Mother says being kept in dark about hospitalised toddler’s condition – brain damage suspected.’

Report on Gecom meeting rescheduling inaccurate

 Dear Editor, It was reported in Demerara Waves dated 25th June, 2013 under caption: ‘Gocool Boodoo’s Contract can’t be renewed’ that two Commissioners associated with the governing People’s Progressive Party Civic (PPP/C) were absent from the meeting on Tuesday 25th June, 2013 and that meant there was no quorum.
