Dear Editor, Recently in the media I recognised that public Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) surveillance has become part of the new national security and crime-fighting initiatives currently being undertaken by the Guyana government.

Dear Editor, We refer to the article, headlined ‘The feud at Ogle‘ (Stabroek Business August 26).

Dear Editor, Every country should do its best to preserve its national treasures; such is not the case of Guyana since independence in 1966.

Dear Editor, What will it take to end the apathy and complacency that shrouds this land?

Dear Editor, I was awarded a house lot in the Parfaite Harmonie housing scheme two years ago and I now live there with my five children.

Dear Editor, In response to a letter that appeared in your edition of August 20 (‘Buses should have conductors‘) I agree with the writer but I would like to highlight a few points.
