Dear Editor,
The race for the presidency of the Guyana Cricket Board is interestingly poised at the moment, and the three serious contenders are continuing to run a clean race – no doubt each of them has the conviction he will claim an overwhelming and undisputed victory at the polls on January, 30, 2011.
Owing to a technical fault we could not access emails for many hours yesterday, and were also unable to retrieve them subsequently.
Dear Editor,
I recall at a Chamber of Commerce dinner at the Pegasus Hotel a few short years ago, President Jagdeo addressing the gathering and the Guyanese public, regaled us all about how well the sugar industry was doing.
Dear Editor,

Dear Editor,
I refer to Mr Justin McKenzie’s SN letter dated January 7, and captioned, ‘Why did GAIBANK never approach the government to make good foreign exchange losses?’
Dear Editor,
Informed sources wish to express appreciation of SN’s very instructive editorial of January 3, 2011 commenting on appointments to the reportedly established Guyana Livestock Development Authority (GLDA).
