Dear Editor, Is the government being hypocritical by allowing a large number of people to attend President Ali’s inauguration and limiting the number of people attending churches?

Dear Editor, As we grow older, we sometimes tend to develop an attitude of patient acceptance of present realities, even as we long for the good old days.

Dear Editor, Allowing for the non-allocation of responsibilities for Finance and critically Oil and Gas, indications so far are as follows: a)            Nineteen (19) Ministers b)            Three (3) Ministries to be managed each by two (2) Ministers c)            Nine (9) Ministers who have been personally resuscitated d)            Ministries would have appeared to be re-christened with old familiar nomenclatures e)            Newcomers to Ministerial portfolios so far add up to nine (9) Along with the President himself and the Prime Minister, the above will debate and decide on the fortunes of approximately 700,000 citizens – a rough average of about 30,000 per Minister.

Dear Editor, I learnt that my political brethren in the coalition are up in arms and have come out swinging against the announcement of investigations at 19 state agencies. 

Dear Editor, In my Friday column of twenty-seven years, I’ve been somewhat consistent in announcing my decision and desire to keep my personal and social distance far from PNC leader, Retired Brigadier Granger.

Dear Editor, The imbroglio (using a mild word) is at last over.

Dear Editor, This note is to extend best wishes to Irfaan Ali as he begins his new innings as the President of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana.

Dear Editor, This writer at the time of writing this letter is residing at Lot WD 107 Government Quarters, Post Office Street – Leonora, West Coast Demerara and my neighbours are President Irfaan Ali to the east and former Regional Chairman of Region Three, Julius Faerber to the West.

Dear Editor, The euphoria which Guyanese are presently caught up in is most understandable after what the country has gone through during the last five months.
