AIBA unveils professional programme

ASTANA, (Reuters) – Amateur boxing organisation AIBA  is to set up a professional programme to enhance its standing  within the sport, AIBA President Wu Ching-Kuo said yesterday.

Khan knocks out Judah to win IBF crown

GBBC ready for RAMPAGE

LONDON, (Reuters) – Former British and European  heavyweight boxing champion Henry Cooper, one of his country’s  most popular sportsmen, has died at the age of 76, the British  Boxing Board of Control (BBBC) said on Sunday.

GABA hosting ‘Road to London’ programme

The Guyana Amateur Boxing Association (GABA) will host a ‘Road to London’ programme on May 2 at the National Park playfield to facilitate preparations for the 2012 Olympic Games to be held in London, England.
