Defending champions Georgetown recorded their third consecutive win in this year’s Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) one-day franchise league with a 21-run win over West Demerara at the Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) ground, Bourda, yesterday.

Windies take series lead with easy win

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados, CMC – West Indies were not at their best but still brushed aside South Africa by 17 runs here yesterday, as they began their final preparation for the defence of their Twenty20 World Cup title in November with a comfortable victory.

India would have been ideal for preparation, says Law

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates, CMC – Head coach Stuart Law has lamented West Indies’ lack of access to training facilities in India, after the regional side were forced to use the ICC Academy here to begin their preparation for the two-Test series starting next week.
