PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad,  CMC – Jonathan Carter scored his maiden century in 50 overs cricket to steer Barbados to a 28-run victory over host Trinidad and Tobago in the NAGICO SUPER50 Regional cricket tournament at the Queen’s Park Oval on Sunday.

EAST RUTHERFORD, (Reuters) – The Seattle Seahawks showed defense still rules in the Super Bowl as they embarrassed the usually high-scoring Denver Broncos 43-8 on Sunday to win their first NFL championship in franchise history.
