Five homeless after Rose Hall Town fire

A Rose Hall Town, Corentyne family of five is now contemplating their next move after a fire suspected to be of electrical origin destroyed their two-bedroom house on Monday evening.

Logger murdered by friend at Hururu

US seals aid for drug fight, port security

Apart from an award of US$300,000 ($60m) from the United States to combat narcotics trafficking here, the US Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will begin a capacity-building programme and a FBI team will help with port security.

Police are seeking legal advice following the crash that resulted in the death of Aaron Leitch, a 34-year-old District Crop Extension Officer attached to the National Agricultural Research and Extension Institute along the Tacama trail, Ituni, Region Ten on the morning of January 31.
