Cyclists need better preparation for international meets

–  GOA president underscores Guyana Olympic Association (GOA) President K Juman-Yassin believes that while there was improvement by local cyclists at the recently-concluded XIX Commonwealth Games in New Delhi, India, there needs to be greater collaboration between stakeholders to prepare them for international meets.

Sankar wins feature event at Hand-in-Hand cycle meet

Eric Sankar has been putting out top performances at recent cycle race meets and he recorded another victory yesterday in the feature event of the 8th Annual Hand-in-Hand Fire and Life Insurance Company Limited 11-Race Cycle Programme around the inner circuit of the National Park.

Hasmoo wins 50-mile cycle road race

With a time of two hours and 10 minutes Wazim Hasmoo rode away with the first place in the 50-mile Mr and Mrs Ramsarran Singh Memorial Cycle Road Race that was held last week Sunday in Berbice.
