Goodridge hosts ‘Self, Life and Love’ seminar

Fashion consultant Christopher Goodridge who was instrumental in grooming various local queens for the international stage is hosting an empowerment seminar that he hopes will draw locals in the entertainment and creative industry.

From October 8 to 12 Goodridge will host, ‘Self, Life and Love’ at the Regency Suites. According to him, the programme is geared to touch on the facets of life useful for the mobility of the personal life especially and targets artistes and people in the arena of entertainment and modelling.

“The components of the seminar will gear you to deal with personal and public life, and teach you vital techniques to navigate in these arenas of your life endeavours. The ‘Self, Life, Love’ seminar will touch on all elements of life necessary for physical and spiritual gratification and growth, their uses and care, thus building your overall image and wellbeing, inside and out,” Goodridge said.

He said it is about empowerment and getting people to embrace their personalities and accept their characters as a celebration of their inner unique being. He was quick to point out that it is nothing, “too deep and scary”.

He stressed that patrons to seminar will learn how important it is to show love and respect to themselves and their fellowman and at the same time become a better rounded individual. Goodridge stated that persons will gain first-hand experiences from workshops, experiments and lectures.

The cost to attend is $2,500 per session or $10,000 for the complete seminar. Goodridge said that each session would last for two hours.

Goodridge also revealed that he has completed three books, an inspirational book called The Awakening, a poetry book Titillate, and a pictorial pocket inspirational book, featuring scenic images of Georgetown.

According to him, they are to be published and released in the UK by Guyanese publisher Arif Ali of Hansib.
