A toddler was pronounced dead at the Georgetown Public Hospital on Wednesday night, two hours after she fell into a trench in front of her Lot 115 Church of God Road home at Buxton.
Reports are that around 5 pm, 21-month-old Ivy Adams got out of a hammock she was in and wandered onto a bridge leading from her home. While there she accidentally fell into the trench. She arrived at the hospital around 7 pm but was already dead.
