Police issue wanted bulletins for 13

Police have issued wanted bulletins for 13 persons, including a woman who is being sought for questioning in connection with four murders committed on the East Bank of Demerara last year and four men for murders. The law enforcement officials are seeking the public’s assistance to locate Anita Lall who is wanted for questioning in relation to the murders of Indira Kayman, Nikita Kirkpatrick, Melville Kayman and Looknauth at Grove, East Bank Demerara.

Michael Dey is wanted for questioning in relation to the “unnatural deaths of Fayon Dey and John Hernandez and arson at the house they were in at Soesdyke,” the Police release stated.

The police also said Friday that they are looking for Alvin Budhu, Vijay Boodram a.k.a. “Toolsie Boodram”, Hilton Vernon Ryan and Maxwell Melville a.k.a. “Lunkie”, all of whom are wanted for murder.

And ex-policeman Ricardo Rodrigues, Carlston Harris, a.k.a. “Redman” or “Tombo”, Elecemar Cassino Eugenio, Danesh Persaud, a.k.a. “Sunil”, Noel Hill, a.k.a “Yankee”, and Clayton Huston are wanted for questioning in connection with a variety of matters. In addition, Jairam Ghianchan is wanted by the Suriname police for questioning.

On August 2, residents of Post Office Street, Grove were assailed by a stench coming from the house where four people lived. When they checked they found three-year-old Melville Inniss and seven-year-old Alicia Kirkpatrick sprawled on the lower flat of the two-storey house. Upstairs, 43-year-old Indira Kayman’s naked body lay in the bathroom with a sheet covering her face and 66-year-old Fred Looknauth was lying in the passageway leading to the bathroom, with his shirt covering his face. Autopsies later revealed that the quartet died as a result of brain haemorrhages, strangulation and suffocation. The charred remains of Fayon Williams, 22, Soesdyke, East Bank Demerara and John Hernandez, 30, of Bagotstown also on the East Bank were discovered on July 19 in the bottom flat of a Soesdyke house amid the debris. Shots were heard shortly before the house went up in flames.
