The Central Corentyne Chamber of Commerce (CCCC) reaffirmed its commitment to working with the government to create jobs and improve the standard of living at its recently held annual general meeting.
The CCCC, in a press release, said Jadoonauth Persaud, was elected president, Adrian Anamayah, vice president, Tajpaul Adjodhea, treasurer, Krishnanand Raghunandan, secretary and Rommel Etwaroo assistant secretary/treasurer.
The executives reiterated that they intend to work with the government, regional administration, police and non-governmental organisations and other authorities to foster growth in the business community, create employment and improve residents’ quality of life. The CCCC said it will continue to work with the authorities to establish a fire station at Rose Hall Town, a national park and an exhibition site in the central Corentyne. The chamber also said it plans to continue to co-host with the government, the Berbice Exposition.
