Gas station collision leaves one hospitalised

An accident at Vergenoegen, East Bank Essequibo has left a woman in hospital nursing head injuries.

Uashadabee Razack told Stabroek News that she had driven her car into a gas station, in the community, when she decided not to make a purchase and was driving off when another vehicle collided with her. Razack said she felt the impact and afterwards she knew “nothing more”.

She was rushed to the West Demerara Regional Hospital where she was admitted with head and other injuries. Razack was x-rayed and has been placed on saline. The other driver did not suffer serious injuries and after being examined was discharged.
