The Guyana Water Incorporated (GWI) said the well which supplies Mocha is functioning as normal and there would be no disruptions.
The GWI in a press release said it had been alerted to inaccurate statements about the water supply circulating in the village.
The company advises the public to contact its public relations department or customer call centre on telephone number 227-8701 for information about the water supply. The GWI also said up-to-date information about disruptions was posted on its website located at www.gwiguyana.com
