A man who allegedly had three firearms and ganja in his possession at Mocha, East Bank Demerara was on Wednesday remanded to prison by Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton.
Conrad Luke pleaded not guilty to unlawful possession of firearms and possession of narcotics when he appeared at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court.
It is alleged that on October 14 at Dawson Street, Mocha, he had 13.5 grammes of cannabis. He also allegedly had three improvised 16-gauge shotguns without lawful authority.
The case was transferred to the Providence Magistrate’s Court for October 29.
