Carolan Lynch murder trial

Magistrate Gordon Gilhuys on Friday denied beauty queen Carolan Lynch’s attorneys’ requests for the negatives of photographs taken of her murdered cambio boss husband, Farouk Razac’s body during the post-mortem.

In his application for the negatives, at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court, attorney Nigel Hughes said he wanted them sent to his experts in London for advice. The Magistrate, however, refused the request saying that the photographs will not be handed over to the attorney until the person who took them testified.

Hukumchand then said he only knew that photographs were taken the day before.

The preliminary inquiry was also put off for another week and no witness testified at the hearing although all the parties were present.

The case was adjourned until October 25.
