Silver Faith restaurant raided

Late Wednesday night two armed men invaded the Silver Faith restaurant at Plaisance Railway Embankment, ECD and robbed the owner of $40,000.

One of the robbers was armed with a handgun and the other with a cutlass. So far no one has been arrested and police are continuing investigations into the robbery.

A police press release stated that investigations revealed that Zim Yang, an employee of Li Jian Ming, had closed the restaurant when he was confronted by the suspect who had secreted himself in the building. He then allowed his accomplice to enter after which they proceeded to rob them of the cash.

The suspects then made good their escape with the cash.
