Trio accused of conspiring to plant narcotics on another man

A man who allegedly conspired with two others to plant narcotics on another man was yesterday placed on $75,000 bail by Acting Chief Magistrate Cecil Sullivan.

Milton Singh was not required to plead to conspiracy to pervert the course of justice at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court.

It is alleged that on June 14, 2006, Singh along with two other men conspired to plant a narcotic substance on Zhou Ming Quan. The other men Gordon Roberts and Sherwin Aaron who were jointly charged with Singh were absent from court.

The case is to continue on March 26.
