According to the facts on the case, on February 4, Delon Abrams, 18, and Devon Abrams, 20, both of 29 Crane Housing Scheme, West Coast Demerara broke into the New Road, Vreed-en-Hoop home of Andrew Peters and stole three bottles of cologne, a gold bracelet, a web camera, a cellular phone, a pair of gloves, a wristwatch, a headphone, a notebook, seven bubble bath bottles, a Brut aftershave, a phone charger and $6,000 cash, with a total value of $76,300, the property of the complainant. She said that upon entering his home he found it ransacked and the items were gone.

The duo while admitting to the offence stated that they would like to repay the VC.
