The People’s Progressive Party has ignored the voice of the people it claims to govern! The people – Christians, Hindus, Muslims, Bahais, Human Rights advocates, media personalities, the man in the street, all and sundry – said no to the bill that sought to legalise casino gambling.
The voice of the people was ignored and the People’s Progressive Party progressed in reverse gear.
The consultation process with religious groups is exposed as a mockery and a farce. Like the Iron Curtain, everything that exalts itself above God will come tumbling down, for “pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall (Proverbs 16:18)”,says the Spirit of the Lord!!
